Everyone is welcome to attend the upcoming meeting of Dem-NPL District 13 in West Fargo, ND.   The meeting will be held at the Blarney Stone Pub – West Fargo (1910 9th Street East - West Fargo) on Thursday, August 29 from 6:00-7:30pm.

 

Representative Josh Boschee will be updating the group on the various North Dakota Interim Legislative Committees that have been taking place.   Senator Ryan Braunberger will be discussing the various legislative campaigns that have been taking place in North Dakota.

 

Kylie Oversen and North Dakota Dem-NPL Committee Man, Jamie Selzer will be reviewing with the group their various activities with the Democratic National Committee and their recent experiences at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois.

 

A highlight of the meeting will be newly elected West Fargo City Commissioner discussing her recent campaign successes and thoughts about West Fargo.  Also, other local leaders will be on the D13 evening agenda.

 

Again, everyone is welcome to come out and visit with their local leaders.

Dan Seymour is running as a Write-In-Vote candidate

on June 11, 2024 for the West Fargo Park Board.

There are two seats open and the only other candidate

is Ryan Gellner. For those of you who are not familiar

with Dan’s family, his wife Chasity and Dan moved to

West Fargo in 2004. Their daughter Solveig was born

in 2005 shortly after moving to West Fargo and their

son Haakon was born in 2007. They have lived in the

same home in the Charleswood neighborhood since

2004. The Seymour family over the years has

participated in many West Fargo Park’s activities to

include basketball, baseball, BMX racing, soccer, and

volleyball. Dan would like to continue to support our

great West Fargo Park’s department and help guide the

future growth of our parks and city. One of Dan’s

family’s favorite activities over the years has been

participating in the annual West Fargo Parks Frostival

Snowflake hunt which has brought Dan to every West

Fargo Park in the city multiple times over the years

which has allowed Dan to see how each neighborhood

park is doing in our West Fargo community.

As a Write-In-Vote Dan Seymour plans to bring new

ideas to the West Fargo Park District Board of

Directors. Dan loves recreational activities and has a

Bachelor’s Degree from Minot State University, a

Master’s degree from the University of Mary and he is

a graduate of the North Dakota Police Academy. Dan

has lived in West Fargo for about 20 years and is very

much part of the fabric of West Fargo and has some

great ideas to keep our community parks on the move.
